LAURA GILLETT (director)
Laura is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan. In addition to directing Laudamus, she teaches languages (Latin, French, etc.) and history and is a homeschool teacher. She enjoys growing orchids, cooking, swimming, and trees. Her favorite color is green, and her favorite kind of food is sushi and fish. She would like to learn how to speak Japanese. Laura has a husband and four children, which means lots of cooking and laundry! If she could have a superpower it would be to fly. Her favorite seasons are winter because of snow days and summer because of swimming. Her favorite places to visit are Lake Michigan, Glenwood Springs, and Chicago. She likes being involved with Laudamus because of the nice and talented people.

LINDA McGINN (accompanist)
Linda is a former high school choral director who now gets to accompany for other people and enjoys not being in charge. If she could have a superpower, it would be to never make a mistake on the piano. She is from Quincy, Illinois, and her favorite color is blue. She likes visiting any place of beauty– God or man made. She likes eating anything that someone else cooks. Linda and her husband, Wayne– a football coach and physical education teacher at Loveland High School– have two children: Caitlin, a history teacher at Skyline High School, and Zack, car salesman and finance guy at Subaru of Loveland. Linda’s favorite season is the summer because of the heat, green-ness, and maybe all those years of being teacher! Linda likes being a part of Laudamus because “it’s a privilege to play for such dedicated and talented musicians. Just a delight and oh, so inspirational!
